International Volunteer
SB Sungai Buloh
About This Experience
On this occasion, I volunteered at a learning center in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia🇲🇾. I taught Indonesian culture using a board game method, similar to Snakes and Ladders, where players roll dice to move forward and learn about Indonesian culture, including games, music, dance, and traditional food.
Not only that, I also taught traditional Indonesian games such as egrang batok, and I was happy to be a volunteer teaching various aspects of Indonesian culture. Although they had difficulty at first, by the end they were able to play smoothly.
I also taught Indonesian batik, so I brought batik-patterned wrapping paper and clothing patterns, which were then cut out and attached to the clothing patterns.
I am very happy to have this opportunity, as this experience shows how I can be a grateful person.
